It’s a thicker consistency than some of these other butter shampoo. It smell reminds me of dove soap. A little goes a long way.

The Mega Green shampoo the slip is all that on my 4b hair. I wish there was a gel with as much slip that didn't leave a hard cast and had a light hold.

Best I've ever tried Last night was my first time ever trying Soultanicals products. And i was in complete shock at how amazing this stuff was. It's more like a co wash, it barely lathered but it left my scalp feeling clean and my hair was soooooo soft, almost to the point of feeling like i didn't need to condition after. I was blown away!! Fantastic Results on My High Porosity Type 4 Hair!!! This product is great for thirsty high porosity type 4 hair. My hair dries out easily and will feel brittle within 4 days which lead to me washing my hair every 5 days. Since I started using this shampoo along with the Fro Despair deep conditioner, my hair has finally started to stay hydrated throughout the week. I concentrate on the ends of my hair with this product so I'm retaining length as well!!! The lather is not overwhelming but it does lather. I generally wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo first then do a 2nd wash with this. This improves the lather and makes detangling much easier because I have removed the buildup from my hair. Once rinsed out, your hair will be pillow soft!!!!

BEST SHAMPOO FOR 4C This is the best shampoo I’ve ever used for 4C hair. It’s soft enough to melt your strands but also washes the hair very well. It has a pleasing earthy smell, and the consistency is just like room temp butter. I saw some people complain about it not lathering up enough, but it does.. the more water you add the more it suds up. I bought the salon size of this and the regular size, I hope y’all never discontinue. Pls don’t. The 4C girls need this win.
