Knot Sauce works as advertised, and gives my hair a nice shine compared to the dry frizz it was before. My long hair is pandemic hair so I had no prior experience taking care of it. Heading back to the office soon, I needed to get it looking good and Knot Sauce did it. I apply it in the shower and use a wide tooth comb. I've never been impressed by a detangler before, but I had grown tired of wasting conditioner ( not to mention water) in the shower trying to detangle hair and after reading the undercurrents list I decided to bring it home and give it a try. Holy heck! Its great! Works better with wet hair but I tried it with dry first. I'm never going back. 3a type curls.

After reading some reviews and watching some knot sauce challenge videos on YouTube, I decided to try the Knot Sauce. I thought it would be good, but it is even better than I expected.
It has a thick, creamy consistency; and a little does go a long way. It absorbed easily into my hair, and any tangles my hair were easily set free. This is a great product for my hair. I tried it on dry and damp hair, it worked well both ways, but the added water made the process easier.

Luckily, not too much spilled but I was pretty pissed so I suggest taping the tops and lids during packaging because I see other reviews where ppl say their products had spilled as well and natural hair products AIN’T CHEAP!!!

so i’m a high porosity girl so my hair tangles on itself pretty easily. & on top of that high porosity hair is very fragile. some pieces of my hair were pretty matted and i sprayed them with water and applied this and it detangled it wonderfully with ZERO BREAKAGE (the only hair that came out was the shed hair that was matted). can’t wait to get a liter size of this.

Cream of the crop right here! I was on average spending 45 minutes detangling my daughter’s type 4 hair. Knot Sauce melted the tangles away the second it touched her head, no lie. I purchased this product at Sally's Beauty Supply for the first time to thoroughly detangle my hair. My hair is 3c/4a textured and medium density with low/normal porosity. This stuff is oooohhhh my gooooodddnnessss!!!! Booooommmbb!!! And I'm not even exaggerating this made my hair slip out those annoying knots and made my hair super duper defined . i usually have defined curls but this stuff is the truth!!! It smells so amazing too I couldn't stop smelling it. I moisturized my hair with aloe vera juice first making my hair soaking wet before applying and the results is out of this world. If you haven't bought this product yet please get it you have to!!! I am definitely buying again I'm going to always purchase this detangler. Soultanicals you can have my money lol

I used this as a leave in conditioner and it worked amazingly well. The slip is bananas. It lightweight but heavy enough where you know you have something on your hair and feel free enough to go in with a gel afterwards.

Just started using Soultanicals. I purchased Knot Sauce this weekend because it is "Glycerin Free". So far I really like it. I have type 4 hair (4b), fine strains, that tangle very easy, tight coils and kinks, with a cotton like texture and thick/dense and high porosity. This Knot Sauce gave my coils and kinks, moisture, softness and Good Slip with NO Glycerin. The combination of ingredients also defined my coils and kinks. Try this product if you hair has a love hate relationship with Glycerin and you are looking for moisture, softness and slip you don't have to rinse out.

I have very tangle prone, bra strap length 4c hair and when i tell you soultanicals knot sauce is THA TRUTH!!! The moment the first drop hit my hair I was shook. I felt the tangles instantly melt and that slipppp!?! whew chile. I wish i knew about it earlier in my hair journey cause ive had so many setbacks from breakage due to poor detangling. This has been a real game changer. Only downside to it is the bottle is so small :( but wow its worth my coins

BEST DETANGLER FOR COILY HAIR
I rarely write reviews for products, even for products I love, but I had to take the time to rave about this detangler. I have coily type 4 hair and it can be a pain to detangle especially after I shampoo my hair. This detangler has the best slip and makes my Tangle Teezer glide through my hair with ease, and it makes my hair so soft. And it smells like buttercream icing.
My only gripe is that it can be difficult to squeeze out of the bottle especially if you have product on your hands, it would have been better to have a pump applicator.
Other than that this is the BEST DETANGLER! I will definitely be repurchasing.

Great product but I hate the smell
This product is really great. Does exactly what it claims to do. I have tried the slide and glide, the frizz whizz, the knot butter, and this. My favorite out of all those is the frizz whizz. All of the products I just listed are amazing detanglers they only vary in smell and texture. The knot butter is more like a cream and smells kinda tart. The frizz whizz, slide and glide, and knot sauce is a liquid creamy feel similar to the consistency of lube. But the frizz whizz smells like watermelon candy, the slide and glide smell like tropical fruit. And the knot sauce smells like very sweet peppermint. Personally, I like the smell of this one the least but it's still a great product.

I haven’t had any tangles or knots in my hair since I started using this product. It REALLY melted the knots away. I’m not really a big fan of the scent, smells a little bit liiike...the almond body lotions you’d get at a store. Kinda like popcorn or something. But it really works and the smell isn’t so bad once you get used to the scent. Everyone else that I know loves the scent, and it’s growing on me as well. The slip is wooooonderful! It’s SUPER slippery! A little goes a long way with this one

This Product works!
I have used Knot Today (very good product) and other knot loosening products designed for natural hair. While other products work well, this product REALLY works, even on the nappy kitchen section. All knots roll out into straight hair. My hair is 4 C, D, E, F :-) and Knot Sauce takes the tangles and knots right out without the lose of any hair. I am returning to website today to purchase another bottle for myself and one as a gift for a lady who attends my church who is also natural. Love this product!!!

I use it on wet hair, after deep conditioning. I put the knot sauce on as my leave in, it immediately melts my hair and detangles like a dream. It's a detangler but not runny, it's a conditioning vanilla smelling cream but not too thick.....just sinks right into my hair. I'm legit in love with it, out of all my darn products I stay grabbing this knot sauce time after time. I already ordered 2 more bottles, as soon as the salon size is available I will be ordering that too. Yal, it is that good.

I've tried a few other natural brands' detangler products but nothing comes close to Knot Sauce! Wet or dry hair, it works out every tangle, every knot, absorbs in, leaves my hair soft, and smells great without being overpowering. My plan was to be able to use the same line for my daughter and I. She's 2 with the thickest hair I've ever seen on a toddler. The only product that's been decent for detangling was a Shea Moisture line for kids but id have to use almost a 3rd of the conditioner and it just still wasn't cuttin it! Finally a true detangler!
OMG, this is truly a great detangler product! It's consistency is more liquidy(not as thick) as I expected but still gets the job done efficiently. I had to see if this product held up to all the surrounding hype so I decided to try it and have been using it ever since on my hair & especially on my daughter's hair which is thicker and more coily than mine, this literally cut the detangling/styling time in half and WITH NO TEARS from her as usual, I'm sold!
